We had a wonderful day with Yokiko and the 2 best coach drivers ever today. Communication with the tour coordinator prior to the tour was clear & concise. On the day our guide was excellent in her organisation, presentation, communication and entertainment, including many fun stories through the day. We thought the schedule was well paced and great value for money.
A bus picked us up at our pickup location. Watch for the message on exact pickup time (our pickup was 30 minutes after what it had mentioned on tour voucher). English guide was provided, and she guided us not just for the trip but even after the trip actively showing us where and how to change trains. As is expected with a bus tour like this, you have limited but enough time at each location. Was a good experience overall. The day we went, Roads to Mount Fuji were closed due to snow, so the tour took us to a lake instead.
The tourist guide is Excellent. Her name is Spring in English she has explained everything in details. Very nice lady.
A very full day with lots to see and do. Great for those who have little time but want to experience alot.
Variety and comfort of the tour was fantastic, even though Mt. Fuji was clouded in the trip was excellent. The guide was knowledgable and friendly and the tour worthwhile. It is a full-day of sightseeing, but always interesting.
This was such a great tour, saw so many things. It’s hard to believe that they could offer so much for such a low price. And to top it off we got to ride the bullet train back to Tokyo. We only have 4 days here so it’s nice to fit so much into 1 day,
Great itinerary, covered a lot in one day. The lunch was so delicious and the atmosphere. Izumi our tour guide was excellent and detailed. Would recommend to friend her services
Very nice trip. Lucky to get view of Mt. Fuji. Our guide was very nice and made the trip enjoyable. She even offered candies to all.
This was a great overall tour of Mt. Fuji and Hakone. Our tour guide was delightful and friendly. The stops at each location were a little too quick; wanted a little more time to explore and take photos, but with all that the tour packed into the day it was well worth it. We had beautiful weather and were able to go to the 5th level to see a spectacular view of snowcapped Mt. Fuji. The hotpot lunch in Hakone was delicious.
I compared many Mt. Fuji day trips that depart from Tokyo, and I always came back to this tour even though it was at a higher price than some other options and providers. This tour was well thought of that covered a few classic areas with a focus on the experience (not just social media photo spots). Our guide, Ms. 三上Mi kami, was so sweet, super well organized, managed time well, provided great information about the areas we were visiting, and lead a few activities to keep the group entertained and engaged. We chose to return to Tokyo by bullet train, which only took us about 40 minutes to Tokyo Station instead of spending approximately 2-2.5 hours on the same bus back. Lunch (optional, depending on the package of your choice) was fresh and good (not fabulous but a B tier—personal opinion). The paying child received the same meal. Pick up communication: The only one thing I wish would have been improved was the meet up/pick up communication. Although I received multiple confirmation and trip reminders prior to the day, I didn’t get any information regarding when and where the pick up would be. I chose a hotel in Ginza that was near my hotel for the pick up location. The tour confirmation says my trip was at 8:30am, but digging into the Grayline tour’s website, there is a timetable showing each available pic up hotel’s meet up time. Based on the timetable, my pick up time should be 8:55am. I didn’t want to take a chance and got to the meet up hotel at the earlier time. Just when I started to get anxious, our guide showed up in the lobby. I spotted her first because she was holding some brochures and a clip board. After gathering the other few participants, we left the hotel at exactly 8:55am. I wish there was a note on the booking confirmation and trip reminders that referred to the hotel timetable. Overall, it was a great trip, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to see the best of Mt. Fuji and the unique nature near it.

A long long day, and in all honesty wouldn't go again. You see mount fuji from a distance after 2 1/2 hours on a bus, then a gondola ride over stinky sulfa and on to a pirate ship. There must be better ways to see mount fuji A long cold disappointing day
Pleasant experience. Host was lovely -sweet, funny and educational. Nice being picked up at hotel. Lots of travelling … if you happen to get a shy Mt. Fuji day. Hakone activities were fine, but not that exciting.
The tour guide was highly professional and was always giving us information about the places we were visiting and additional cultural information.
The guide did an excellent job in managing the disappointment of the tourists. S the was informative, humorous, empathetic but gracious. Unfortunately, pouring down rain and crazy wind prevented us from enjoying Mt.Fuji Station 5, Black Egg, overhead gondolas and shrine (backup). The boat ride was okay, although overbooked (standing outside, no seats). Lunch was very good. More than enough to eat. Several wonderful guests from East Coast, South, California and Toronto. They made it feel okay that it is what it is. Got to help take a cool photo of another guest/Black Egg. And I got one too. Not perfect but true to what was happening. Haha Ride back on non reserved Shinkansen was perfect. Was I disappointed yes, but the Greyline can’t guarantee perfect weathet. It’s the second time we’ve used them here in Japan. And their service did not disappoint.
Izumi our tour guide was an amazing lady and was so informative and right on track with the schedule . We almost didn’t see mt Fuji but in the afternoon did see it . Such an amazing trip
Our tour guide Izumi was so informative and so kind. She made sure the group stuck together getting on and off the Gondola. The weather on Mount Fuji was cloudy and we could not see the summit. Once we were on the Gondola in Hanoke we had the best view. The Ashi lake cruise was beautiful even though it was at sunset. It would of been good if the tour started earlier like 7.30am and then the lake cruise would be in daylight. Also advise people of the weather conditions being 10 to 15 degrees colder than Tokyo. We loved the day, it's worth it.
Despite the very bad weather, the tour was nice and enjoyable, the meal was excellent and the guide, Mr. Yoshi, was very kindy and helpful. We were a bit afraid of not being able to find the meeting point, but at the end it was quite easy (with google maps you can go anywhere in Tokyo's main area).
Hotel pickup was a bonus, not having to find our way to the pickup point during peak hour travel. The guide was excellent. She spoke very good English and her commentary during the tour was informative and interesting. The tour group was small and everything ran smoothly and on time. The lunch was delicious.
The trip to Mount Fuji was great. It was cloudy so we couldn’t see the peak but otherwise it was wonderful. My guide Mi Kami was especially wonderful. Very informed and intuative. Kept us busy with activities. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting japan.
Our tour guide Yukiko and the 2 bus drivers were more than fantastic. They took great care of the entire tour group and really wanted to make sure we all had the best experience. From the hotel pickup to directing us where to go on the return train ride, it was very easy! We did encounter unexpected traffic which delayed our day by about an hour but it was still wonderful. I highly recommend!
Our tour guide Izumi was absolutely phenomenal. She had everything planned out to a T! We have never laughed so much on a tour before and felt so well looked after. If I could give this 10 stars I would.
Yoshi, our tour guide, was wonderful! He shared a lot of information about Japan and had us do a simple origami for Mt. Fuji. I was happy with the whole tour experience and our only disappointment was not seeing Fuji due to the cloud cover. A perfect one day tour!
The tour included several interesting locations and staff made it a ver great experience. Asako San was ver helpful through the booking process and our guide Kana San and drivers were very helpful, polite and friendly. Definitely recommend booking tours with them. Looking forward for the next one.
